Sources
Every factual claim on a page should trace to a named, dated source listed at the bottom of that page. Our main sources are the Thailand Land Department, the Real Estate Information Center (REIC), the text of Thai statutes such as the Condominium Act B.E. 2522 (1979, amended 2008) and the Revenue Code, and market reports from CBRE Thailand, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank Thailand and Colliers Thailand. We also use developer publications and price lists, and listing portals for asking-price ranges.
When a figure cannot be traced to a named source, we remove it or state a range with the source that supports it. We do not invent sources, statistics or quotations. Asking prices from listing portals are labelled as asking prices, not as sale prices.
AI assistance
Our pages are drafted with the help of AI writing tools. Drafts are written and checked against the cited sources with the help of AI tools. We correct errors that readers report. Pages are published under a desk byline, the Editorial Desk or the Legal Research Desk, rather than under the name of an individual.
Charts and data tables are built from the figures in each page's data, not generated as images. Photographs from Wikimedia Commons are credited in our image attribution list. Some project pages use AI-generated or third-party illustrations; these may not show the actual building.
Dates
"Published" is the date a page was first released. "Updated" is the date of the last material revision to its content. A material revision means a change to facts, figures, prices, legal references or advice, not a typo fix or a design change. We do not refresh dates automatically, and a rebuild or redeploy of the site does not change any date shown on a page.
Market data ages quickly. Always check the date of the source listed next to a figure, not only the page date.
Corrections
If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page URL, the passage and, where possible, a primary source. We correct factual errors, outdated figures, wrong statute references and broken source links. When a correction changes the substance of a page, the page gets a new "Updated" date. We do not change a page because a developer, agent or seller would prefer a different assessment unless the facts support it.
Commercial relationships
We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, rankings or reviews. Thailand Condo Shop does not sell, list or represent any property and is not a real estate agency or broker. If a page is ever connected to a commercial relationship, such as an advertisement, a sponsorship or a relationship with a developer or agent, that relationship will be disclosed on the page itself.
We do not publish star ratings or testimonials unless they come from real, verifiable reviews.
Not advice
Our content is general information for foreign condo buyers. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and the Legal Research Desk is not a law firm. Laws, fees and Land Department practice change. Before you buy, instruct a lawyer licensed in Thailand. Our terms of use set out the limits of what we publish.
