Thailand Condo Shop is a research and education site for foreigners buying condominiums in Thailand. We publish buyer guides, market data and project reviews compiled from named public sources. We do not own, sell, list or represent any property, and we are not a real estate agency or broker. The domain was registered in 2012 and hosted an earlier Pattaya condo website before the current research site launched in April 2026.
Editorial standards
The rules below apply to every page we publish. The full version is in our editorial policy.
Claims are sourced. Prices cite their source and its date, and legal statements cite the statute section. Sources are listed at the bottom of each research page, numbered and dated.
AI assistance is disclosed. Drafts are written and checked against the cited sources with the help of AI tools. We correct errors that readers report.
No fabricated reviews. We never invent star ratings or user testimonials, and our project reviews carry no rating markup.
No paid placements. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. Any commercial relationship connected to a page will be disclosed on that page.
Honest dates. "Published" is the date a page was first released. "Updated" appears only after a material revision. We do not refresh dates automatically.
Who writes the pages
Pages carry one of two desk bylines rather than the name of an individual. Each desk profile explains what the desk covers and how its pages are checked.
Thailand Land Department transfer data, REIC quarterly figures, CBRE Thailand market outlooks, Cushman & Wakefield quarterly reports, the Condominium Act B.E. 2522 (1979, amended 2008) and the Thai Revenue Code form the base of our research. For legal interpretation we also cite commentary published openly by Thai law firms such as Tilleke & Gibbins, Siam Legal and ForbesAndPartners. Citing their published work does not mean they have reviewed our pages.
